African Industries Group - Finance Controller

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Financial Controller to join our finance team. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities for 6 plants, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Note : Mentioned opening is for Nigeria with Bachelor status for first year.

Salary : Salary will be paid in USD & not taxable in India. Other perks & benefits are over & above

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and performance improvement.

- Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.

- Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets and cost controls.

- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.

- Evaluate and implement financial software systems to streamline financial processes and reporting.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, including coaching, training, and performance management.

Qualifications :

- Master's degree in Accounting/Finance/CA(Inter)/CA

- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of financial management principles and practices.

- Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
