AffordPlan - Engineering Manager

Job Responsibilities : 

- Build and lead a team of engineers and data scientists to deliver to the changing needs and landscape and build tech solution for introducing new product offerings to customers.

- The candidate will be responsible for a broad array of individual services, including Architecture and leading teams for implementing a set of cloud-based services that will power our products.

- Mentoring the team on technological concepts and best practices for design, implementation and other processes.

Skills/Qualification Required :

- 9+ years of work experience in end-to-end development, preferably in a financial institution/Fintech company.

- Educational Background from Tier 1/2 college (IIT, NIT, BITS, DCE, NSIT, MS from reputed institute, IISC, IIIT, PEC, Thapar, VIT)

- Very strong technical grasp over Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Python, Tomcat.

- Experience in leading architecture migration towards a micro-service based architecture.

- Experience in managing full stack development from idea to product delivery.

- Entrepreneurial experience is a plus.

- Experience in a reputed product company. Accomplishments and experience working as a software engineer.

- An individual should have significant and notable experience managing a full stack of developers, experience managing multiple technical teams and start-to-finish exposure being part of projects encompassing architecture, development, project management, QA with a clearly established track of delivery.

- A dreamer, tech architect and a hands-on developer all rolled into one, eager to build an organization and create a scalable tech ecosystem for large-scale impact.

- Experience having led end to end development of at least one web/ mobile based product that has been released and used by consumers/ corporates.
