We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to join our growing team.

The Role :

This is a full-time on-site opportunity for a Department Head to lead our Credit Control & FCU (Financial Control Unit) team in our Kurla, Mumbai office.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our credit management processes, minimizing credit risk, and driving financial efficiency.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of credit control and FCU professionals.

- Develop and implement effective credit risk management strategies.

- Oversee the entire credit lifecycle, from loan application to collection.

- Analyze credit applications, assess financial viability, and recommend loan approvals.

- Conduct due diligence and implement fraud prevention measures.

- Ensure adherence to credit policies and regulatory guidelines.

- Monitor and manage non-performing assets (NPAs).

- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and forecasts.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.

- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Operations, and other departments.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 8+ years of experience in credit control, credit risk management, or a related field.

- Proven track record of successfully managing credit risk and minimizing delinquencies.

- Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling and credit scoring techniques.

- In-depth knowledge of Indian credit laws and regulations.

- Experience in managing and motivating a team.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Experience in the non-banking financial services (NBFC) sector (highly desirable).

- Certification in credit risk management (e. , CRMP) or a similar qualification
