Organization : Advantmed India LLP

Function/SBU : DATA Operations

Base Location : Ahmedabad

Reporting Manager: Sr. Director (DATA Governance & Operations)

Primary Purpose: Be a key management team member and a thought leader and augment the organizational growth efforts by bringing expertise in the areas of advanced data techniques, including data modeling, data access, data visualization, statistical methods, database design and implementation. Defines and achieves the strategy road map for the enterprise; including data modeling, implementation and data management.

Data Management Operations:

- Oversees the operational management with primary focus of achieving and surpassing client expectation.

- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

- Attract, retain and develop staff, ensuring that succession plans are in place for all employees; ensure team enjoys high morale (across all shifts), appropriately rewarded, and consistently delivers exceptional service.

- Establishes and implements standard procedures for data operations; develops process improvements and identifies opportunity for enhancements. Oversight of Best Practices, including but not limited to operations manuals, service guides, training, and communication.

- Design, maintain and implement an enterprise data architecture strategy to ensure that company remains at forefront of technological offerings and solutions in health care industry.

- Work closely with other IT groups to coordinate current and future plans and activities including coordination and technical assistance to facilitate development projects that involve the computing environment, the coordination of software upgrades and the installation of new products.

- Utilization of advanced data analysis, including statistical analysis, data mining techniques, and use of computational packages such as SAS.

- Develops specific metrics for quality and consistency reviews of data across clinical procedure codes and geographic areas.

- Draws conclusions and effectively communicates findings with both technical and non-technical team members, providing active leadership skills across project team and business community.

- Experience in and understanding of a wide variety of analytical processes (governance, measurement, information security, etc.).

- Performs personnel responsibilities such as recruiting, performance appraisals, training initiatives, discipline, promotions and termination.

Project Management:

- Participate in all development projects to ensure the data architecture guidelines are applied.

- Direct research on potential technology solutions and implementations in support of new initiatives, opportunities, and procurement efforts.

- Establish and maintain regular written and in- person communications with the organization's executives, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent Data activities.

- Define and execute the data road map

- Understand, monitor and implement solutions to protect the privacy, integrity and availability of all data collected and stored within the organization.

- Maintain database performance and availability by identifying and resolving production and application development issues.

- Responsible for the development of best practices and guidelines for existing or new technologies within responsible area(s).

- Serve as key thought leader in the development of a global data road map, business intelligence and data strategy.

- Collaborate closely with business leadership to ensure continual alignment around the development, maintenance, access, use, security and retention of global data.

- Collaborate with information consumers across the organization to ensure that all critical information needs are optimally addressed; trouble-shoot and re-mediate where necessary even able to write queries in SQL.

Work Relations:

Internal:

- Reporting to Sr. Director - Data Governance & Operations for all functional.

- Interfacing with all service level heads and managers based out of India as well as other global offices. (24 X 7 work environment).

- Interfacing with Business development, finance, Human resources, administration team members and software development teams of for all functional as well as operational issues.

- Interfacing with employee committees and all employees through town halls and webinars.

External:

- Interface with potential and existing vendors and channel partners.

Desired Key Expertise for the job:

- Expertise with MS SQL 2008/2012.

- Experience with established and emerging data technologies and concepts.

- Experience in leading data integration and change management.

- Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.

- Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.

- Should have exposure to working with US time zone interface

- US Health care domain exposure is desirable.

- Extremely strong analytical and problem -solving skills.

- Proven strong negotiating and consensus building abilities.

- Proven skills to work effectively across internal functional areas in ambiguous situations.

- Highly self- motivated, self- directed, and attentive to detail.

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high- pressure environment.

- Prepare management reports and present to clients monthly / quarterly / annually.

Experience & Qualification:

- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering).

- Advanced degree in Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science or related fields is a plus.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels (frontline to - C" level).

- Extensive experience in MySQL database, logical and physical.

- Six Sigma Trained/Certified, Project Management Experience preferred, Agile Scrum/Kanban Experience preferred.

- Exceptional, demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Good Hands on Experience on Excel and SQL.

- Extremely strong mathematical, analytical and organization skills.

- Exposure to the ETL tool and manage the integration at multiple level, preferred to have exposure to SAS programming.

The person fulfilling this role should be self-starting, People facing, imaginative, direct, influential, team player and self-confident. Independence, mobility, activity, pace and authority are also factors which could be important to this position.

Experience: 8-12 Yrs, primarily in global Health Care or ITeS space. Health care Domain experience is good to have, however ITeS experience is a must.

A. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing team.

B. Min 3 years exposure in process improvement.

C. Min 3 years of experience in data operations & leadership.

Working Hours: 5 days week. Shift Hours: (4:00PM to 1:30 AM)

Working Hours: 5 days week (Flexibility to stretch and work in a 24X 7 environment is a MUST)
