Client Project Manager (Transition Project Manager)

Primary Purpose :

Supporting Client project management delivery, transition, budgeting and financial management, process documentation, reporting, analysis and effectively coordinating with operations operations on overall direction for seamless and effective execution of client projects. Ensure execution oversight, control and completion of client projects and ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Key Job outcomes :

- Ensure effective ans seamless on boarding of client projects.

- Effectively plan and ensure seamless delivery of every project on time within budget and scope.

- Effectively ensure successful initiation of the project with clear control and monitor plan so as to ensure that client expectations are met.

- Effectively define project milestone and deliverable and create a clear WBS for the same.

- Effectively Identify, document & manage complex dependencies between Projects.

- Develop a detailed project plan and charter to track execution and progress of projects.

- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.

- Effectively manage client relationships and present new products and services and enhance client relationship.

- Effectively handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.

- Effectively render and pre-sales support from a project management standpoint. (RFI/RFP support)

- Effectively Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders within organisation.

- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

- Ensure clients needs and quality standards are met with along with the cost budget.

- Monitoring and Reporting Progress, Managing Risks and Issues, Controlling Quality of Projects.

- Plan and schedule project deliverable, goals, and milestones.

- Weekly Project status review with project team, stakeholders and Client.

- Within a project-management framework, the Project Manager will manage whole projects to ensure transitions processes are developed and sustained.

- Ensure that the project outcomes and requirements are adequately defined and that the needs of the users and all other stakeholders are fully and properly understood and accounted for.

Work Relations :

Internal :

- Reporting to PMO Head for all functional and administrative purposes.

- Interfacing with all service level heads and managers based out of India as well as other global offices. (24 X 7 work environment).

- Interfacing with Business development, Finance, Human resources, administration and software development teams for account management and Client interface all functional as well as operational issues.

External :

- Interface with potential and existing vendors and channel partners.

Desired Key Expertise for the job :

- PMP certification (preferred).

- Exceptional, demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

- US Health Care Industry Knowledge. (preferred)

- Exposure into variance analysis, business skills, management and budgeting.

- Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.

- Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.

- Should have exposure to working with US - UK time zone interface.

- Extremely strong analytical and problem -solving skills.

- Proven strong negotiating and consensus building abilities.

- Proven skills to work effectively across internal functional areas in ambiguous situations.

- Highly self- motivated, self- directed, and attentive to detail.

Experience & Qualification:

- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in management, business, or related field (with PMP Certification).

- Total experience between 7 to 12 year and minimum of 2.5 years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related area, during which both professional and management capabilities have been clearly demonstrated Knowledge of medical claims, insurance, HIT product development, and/or consulting industries.

- Extensive experience providing practical direction on information and Management platforms.
