Department : R&D - iHCM

- As Program Manager drive program execution from product definition through successful release and transfer to sustaining engineering.

Key responsibilities include :

- Identify priorities and resource requirements for each project or program

- Proactively identify potential risks & issues, and develop, implement & track mitigation plans

- Monitoring status of all service packs and providing updates to Management

- Conducting retrospective reviews;Helps in identifying process gaps and assist in Implementing process enhancements

Essential Responsibilities :

- Interact with Project Sponsors, multiple development teams to define and deliver programs within timeline & budget.

- Lead the effective and efficient delivery of large complex cross-functional projects.

- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

- Gain consensus on technical decisions and ensure that appropriate software engineering practices are employed to deliver high quality results.

- Maximize resources for the greater good of the organization.

- Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.

- Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.

- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.

Reporting Relationships :

Supervisor : Sr. Director - Application Development

Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline

- 5+ years of experience leading software development projects with aggressive schedules

- 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience.

Generic Skills :

- Track record for managing complex technology projects with aggressive schedules and scarce resources

- Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects

- Solid foundation in service-oriented technologies to be able to understand service inter-dependencies and drive towards technical solutions for multi-tiered systems.

- Extensive experience in waterfall and Agile project management methodology

- Experience with cross geographical project coordination and management

- Experience developing Internet products and technologies

- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Proven problem solving skills.

- Strong organizational skills.
