Reports to: Head FP&A and Accounts

Job Overview:

- We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) candidate to join our dynamic finance team.

- The incumbent will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis, including financial modeling and pricing. This role requires a deep understanding of financial statements, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

- The incumbent will also be responsible for managing the accounts department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Develop, monitor, and maintain the company's annual budget and financial forecasts.

- Track and report on budget variances, providing actionable insights to management.

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

2. Management Reporting:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss (P&L) reports.

- Generate detailed variance analysis reports and present findings to senior management.

- Create and maintain financial models to support various business initiatives.

- Provide recommendations based on financial data to improve profitability and efficiency.

3. Maintain Banking relationships:

- Develop relations and maintain relations with banks to manage day-to-day banking activity.

- Maintain optimal overdraft utilization

4. Accounting Operations:

- Monitor over all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost accounting.

- Ensure timely closure of final books of accounts.

- Maintaining accurate accounting records and financial data.

5. Cash Flow & Risk Management:

- Monitor cash flow and ensure liquidity for business operations.

- Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

6. Cost control:

- Put in place cost control mechanisms.

- Ensure strict adherence to approved budgets & cost structures.

- Keep the cost to the lowest without impacting quality & operations of the organization.

7. Pricing:

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive pricing matrix for the companys services.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess pricing strategies and their impact on the business.

8. Financial Modeling:

- Build, maintain, and update financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.

- Use financial models to simulate various business scenarios and predict future financial outcomes.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting. MBA and/or ICWA relevant certification is necessary.

- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

- Proficient in financial modeling and Excel, with experience in building complex financial models, is critical.

- Knowledge of various pricing methods and the ability to develop pricing matrices.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform ratio analysis, trend analysis, and cost benefit analysis.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience in financial planning and cost control.

- Ability to lead teams and present financial insights to executives.

- Knowledge of tax laws and financial regulations is mandatory.

Experience:

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, management reporting, or related fields.

- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling & cost control.

- Prior experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies is highly desirable.
