Mergers & Acquisition/Litigation - Legal
Job Purpose :
- To assist seniors in safeguarding business interest by providing legal services (such as: mergers & acquisitions, litigation, legal documentation and advisory) to the Group Business.
- To develop expertise in Laws relating to Product Declaration and supporting business in handling all the matters relating to these laws and also creating awareness.
Key Accountability :
- Participate & support in M&A activities undertaken by the group businesses by conducting legal due diligence, drafting / reviewing transaction and ancillary documents and to facilitate in achieving the business purpose.
- Draft, review or structure agreements to mitigate the risks of the Group businesses.
- Provide legal advisory services, ensure compliance mechanism to Group Businesses on Laws relating to Product Declaration and also creating awareness.
- Effectively managing the litigation involving Group Businesses by reviewing the facts, assessing the merits, highlighting risks and suggest the way forward to minimize risk.
- Strong M&A, Litigation exposure
- 3-6 years experience post qualification
- LLB qualification mandate, LLM (preferred)
