Mandatory Specifications:
- Number of years of experience: 1-2.5 yrs post MBA experience
- Strong experience of HR Process & HR Operations
- Capability to handle multiple stakeholders
- Ideally from a HR generalist background.
- Preferably from the Retail Industry background (not necessarily apparel business)
- MBA in HR from a reputed institute - 2012/2013 batch
Details about position:
Job Purpose:
- To implement the Retail Training, engagement and development charter in the region.
- Work closely with stakeholders in order to promote the Madura culture of high performance in the region
Key Accountabilities:
1. Partnering with Regional Managers and Area Retail Managers of brands to ideate, support and drive meaningful programs and interventions that carry the potential to positively impact retail employee productivity and thereby influence business results.
2. Proactively develop the top store managers, assistant managers, team leaders and customer care associates through structured programs
3. Identify needs, develop/co-create content, drive execution of training programs through innovative methods of training, measure and report coverage and effectiveness of training
4. Conceptualize the regional employee engagement road map and supporting communications plans. Execute employee engagement programs directed to ‘motivate’, ‘improve performance’, ‘improve bonding of teams’, ‘deal with work-life balance’, ‘social issues’ and so on.
5. Create and implement action plans directed to improve ‘advocacy’ and ‘stability’ in retail employees
6. Resolve employee grievances for the retail store/key account teams
KPIs include:
- Grievance tracking and redressal at the region
- Identifying top performers and work on their development
- Tracking Training coverage and effectiveness
