Role Description :
- Chief Product Officer will be responsible for driving the product strategy and executing the Business/Customer need by integrating with the Technology/ Engineering Teams. He/she will be responsible for driving the product definition, requirements, design and delivery of new and/or adaptation of current offerings for markets.
- He/she should crave to go beyond traditional boundaries and be an Out of the Box thinker. He/ she should believe the customer should be at the centre of the solution and not the product. Revolutionary and disruptive in approach, the candidate should be passionate to make cutting-edge changes to the way financial services is delivered in India.
- The ideal candidate must keep up-to-date with recent advancements in the field. Apart from their education and experience, they must have every quality of a leader and a strong strategic and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for leading the product conceptualization, definition, planning and execution throughout the product life-cycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
- Defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, category/merchandising, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Manage all the aspects of product life-cycle, including strategy, conceptualization, user research, feature requirements definition, user interface, prototyping, A/B analysis, feedback, roll-out and enhancements
- Measure impact of all deliveries and back it up with appropriate data. Constantly iterating on product offerings based on feedback & data.
- Responsible for all product design decisions, define & oversee the implementation of product design strategy, objectives, and initiatives
- Create new offerings by demonstrating cohesive end-to-end thinking and partner closely with cross functional teams to define the work required to successfully deliver and realize a winning offering.
- Be the expert for a complete product solutions space by thoroughly knowing the product functionality, constraints, business process, value, customer profile and industry domain (across core processes), how it's used, and where it meets or fails to meet customer needs, helps teams solve problems through problem domain expertise
- Strategize and think about product ideas that will delight customers
- Track interesting trends on emerging product offerings that are relevant to business
- Build, and manage an outstanding product team, and keep them motivated.
Desired Skills / Experience :
- At least 7 years of work experience in product management leadership position.
- Hands-on experience with all stages of the product life-cycle from product conceptualization till implementation. Proven ability to take tough decisions on critical product features.
- Proven ability to build teams and lead organizations in a rapidly growing environment with a minimum of 3 years managing product managers
- Strong analytic & problem-solving capabilities evidenced by a proven ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze product concepts, strategic opportunities and competitive threats.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and influence executives, business leaders, and technology leaders.
