JOB DESCRIPTION :

ROLE : Account Director

Reporting to : Vice President

Location : Mumbai

Key Responsibilities of the role :

The Account Director is the Head of a unit in Practice domain and is responsible for building and retaining leadership position of Adfactors PR through the formulation and implementation of effective communication strategies for all clients.

The Account Director will be responsible and accountable for all client servicing initiatives and also ensures that service quality is delivered consistently to all clients while managing the overall profitability of the relationship with respect to the firm.

Additionally, the Account Director will assist the Vice President in developing and implementing the new business development initiatives of the firm.

Primary Responsibilities :

Responsible for:

- Being the custodian of client relationships management

- Leading client delivery in all respects

- Full compliance on agency processes (client initiation and management)

- Managing client relationships at operation and CXO levels

- Managing media relationships with the identified media universe

- Formulating, presenting and seeking approval on quarter and annual plans and reviews

- Participating in the development of the monthly plans

- Managing collections of client-fee within the agreed time limits

- Ensuring effective implementation and outcome of the campaign plan

Client Servicing :

Responsible for :

- Formulating key communication messages/strategies for campaign

- Planning for all large and complex (multi-location/national) events

- Network planning to ensure error-free delivery of the agreed campaign/event

- Budgeting for all client activities within the business plan parameters of the Company

- Client satisfaction index as per the business plan of the Company

- Approving all communication going to the client on all aspects related to the account

Media Relations :



Responsible for :

- Formulating the National Media Universe for all clients

- Building relationship with key senior journalists and editors of the media universe

- Overseeing all media pitches concerning clients

- Guiding teams in maximising media placement opportunities

- Approving all communication going to media on all aspects related to the account - Leading and

participating in the media contact programme related to each account

- Keeping track of the campaigns of the competition

Knowledge Management :

Responsible for :

- Ontime and full compliance of all client servicing processes as defined in DocMan

- Conducts and guides research on issues relevant to client's sector

- Develops learning- sfrom PR activities of Indian and International competitors of clients

Business Management :



Responsible for :

- Proactively identifying, reporting and resolving critical agency-client issues

- Annual growth in retainer income per client as per agreed business plan

- Client retention as per the business plan

- Assist management in developing new business leads

- Assist Vice President/Director in preparing pitch presentations

Team Management :

Responsible for :



- Mentoring team members on all aspects of their work

- Providing continuous feedback on their work for improvement

- Compliance to organisational guidelines

- Resolving interpersonal conflicts within teams/locations

- Diligent execution of the performance management programme of the Company

- Promoting apolitical work environment
