Adani Group - Sector Head - Internal Audit - Agro Vertical

We are currently hiring for Sector Head Position based at Ahmedabad location. Interested candidate who fit into following criteria can apply for the same.

Job Purpose - 

- Lead internal audit activity of Agro vertical in order to provide assurance on risk management process including performance management (project management and efficiency & effectiveness of operations). Responsible for risk based audit planning and execution thereof to strengthen overall Governance, risk management and compliance processes in Agro vertical. It includes audit of various core business processes of Agro vertical (operations, logistics, warehousing, etc. ) and support business processes like Finance & Accounting, Inventory, procurement, IT, HR, Admin, EHS, etc. to ensure that timely identification of risks, monitoring of risk mitigating controls / actions are carried out in a cost effective manner.

Key Accountabilities

1 Lead the audit scoping and planning exercise for the sector, as per risk based approach

2 Develop detailed audit execution plan as per agreed scope and allocate resources accordingly

3 Oversee / lead execution of audit and assurance engagement within the sector

4 Examine the effectiveness of internal control system, policies and processes through evaluation and make recommendations

5 Understand key business drivers of Agro business and become a key/integral member of risk management oversight team in logistics vertical.

6 Carry out concluisive risk based analysis, insight and recommendations on the overall risk management process and its effectiveness.

7 Provision of regular, timely observations, insights and advice to support business monitoring and decision making on internal audit / risk management / operating efficiency matters.

8 Manage / lead specific and critical audit projects and assurance engagements per plan

9 Report effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and compliance to Audit Committee of the Board.

10 Track closure of reorted risks though appropriate management actions on audit observations

11 Assist the Group Head of MAAS in capture and reporting of department MIS

12 Drive training / awareness initiatives in MAAS

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- CA/MBA/ICWA

- Additional qualification - CIA/CISA/CFE

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

- 15 plus years

- > 5 year in internal audit leadership role

- IA working experience in corporate group set up is desirable
