Conduct rigorous research, propose evidence-based policies, and foster thought leadership, as part of a Think Tank, focusing on Climate & Energy, Economy & Trade, and Geopolitics & International Relations.
- Conduct in-depth research and data analysis for the given three focus areas
- Contribute to the writing of research papers, policy briefs, and articles of high quality and relevance
- Analyze data from various sources to support research work
- Oversee implementation of research projects, including planning, budget management, and coordination of high-level events
- Establish a network of industry participants, collaborate with partners and other influential stakeholders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the think tank, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Mentor junior researchers and staff, sharing your knowledge and experience to build a strong research team
Qualifications and Skills:
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant field related to the policy area of expertise
- 5+ years of experience in policy research, analysis, and publishing research papers
- Experience in managing personnel, projects, budgets, and grants strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking and media engagement
- Proven ability to influence policy and public discourse in their area of expertise
- Ability to interact with and respond to questions from a range of individuals with diverse interests, backgrounds, and dispositions from across a wide spectrum of views on foreign policy and national security
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success working in highly collaborative, team-based environments
