Job description
The ideal candidate will generate radio FM and digital revenue by maintaining relationships with current advertisers, identifying and breaking new business, developing strategic plans, negotiating schedules, and communicating results or problems to management. S/he will also collaborate with the sales team on print media plans and program opportunities.
Primary responsibility will include sourcing existing / new international clients for generating advertising revenue, and bundling group media vehicles like digital, with radio .
Will be part of the Ad Sales team.
Work closely with teams to create specific specials, thus customizing and monetizing special events and be on the lookout to develop new ideas to increase revenue.
To maintain a high level of servicing through regular interactions with clients and agencies, in turn developing good business relations for inducing customer loyalty to group media products.
Undertake regular research to unearth new clients to be in sync with latest international product/services/launching entering in India.
Monitoring competition and ensuring quick action on follow up.
Maintaining updated leads and client database and building up short term and mid term pipelines to ensure achievement of revenue objectives.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of work experience in Advertising sales.
- Strong understanding of radio & digital sales and media planning process.
- Ability to develop custom marketing proposals and ideas.
- Ability to handle details related to client campaigns, optimization and campaign reporting.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
Duties and responsibilities may be adjusted based on years of experience.
Salary is also commensurate with experience.
