AD - Regulatory Valuations & Disclosures - BFSI

Role :

- Communicating change requirements and preparing project plans to meet regulatory valuation standards

- Preparing budgets requests for regulatory change programmes.

- Reviewing fair value financial reporting disclosures and providing analysis and commentary to senior finance management.

- Coordinating the reporting cycle for regulatory returns including Prudential Valuations and Liquidity.

- Liaising with onshore and offshore Valuations personnel to understand key drivers and movements in the regulatory returns.

- Production and presentation of MIS packs to senior management.

- Enhance existing reporting process to improve efficiency and quality.

- Responding to ad-hoc regulatory requests

Candidate :

The ideal candidate will combine the following skill sets and or qualifications :

- Strong mathematical/analytical ability ideally with a degree in Finance, Math or Economics and experience in valuations

- Computing skills including strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Strong communication and inter-personal skills in order to interact confidently with other stakeholders including onshore valuations / Finance management

- Attention to detail, strong team player, ability to multitask and work independently

- An excellent knowledge of investment banking and the finance function therein - the individual is required to provide oversight to a process which has already been subjected to supervisory review. In order to do this effectively, a 'big picture' mentality is required.
