Position: Account Director – Global Advertising Deployment

SUMMARY
- The Global Advertising Deployment (GAD) Account Director (AD) is the Single Point of contact for the product & service categories assigned within the client’s business. The incumbent should ensure effective localization, deployment, management & reporting of Global Campaigns in the local market across all medium (Internet, Mobile, Social Media, Print, Direct mailer, Television, Radio, Point of sales, outdoor, sponsorship etc.) under the guidance of Wunderman Global AD deployment team and in collaboration with local media partners & the client (Microsoft India). The incumbent should have prior experience in advertising / media agency with a strong digital expertise. Around 5-6 yrs. previous experience of handling digital media for the purpose of deployment of integrated media campaign. Should have experience in working closely with creative teams to develop communication that is most effective via test-&-target and optimization techniques.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Wunderman India's Global AD Deployment initiatives for Wunderman International client marketing campaigns.
- Interact with client integrated marketing teams in creating and executing digital experiences while maintaining the sanctity of the brand message
- Strong operation management ability & fair understanding of media landscape & formats especially in digital.
- Closely monitor changes in the digital space so as to identify gaps and opportunities for new interactive marketing opportunities
- Integrate with client's other agency partners for online and offline media deployment for the marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate the development of websites, online promotions, digital (including mobile) creative and online content for Interactive Marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Work as an integral member of the Wunderman Global team & engage with Global / Group teams and bring best practices to India
- Work in close relationship with the Knowledge and insights team, ensure the development of an on-going measurement tool and process for all marketing campaigns
- Supervise operations to ensure deliverables are met.
- Provide local insight and expertise to rollout global campaigns & creation of market specific campaigns.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with key clients.
- Liaison between Agency and Client to establish goals and budget and ensure the receipt of quality, cost-effective solutions.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Dynamic leadership, management and team building skills with an ability to Lead cross-functional teams in developing superior user experiences and engagements using digital assets and platforms
- Strong client facing skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Well organized, meticulous in approach & ability to work efficiently with various functions of the agency, client and media partners.
- Understand and report key measurement / tracking criteria for the creative executed as part of the campaign
- Collaborate with client's campaign team and media AOR through campaign development process, ensuring local context is provided and maintained throughout campaign development. This can include providing local market perspectives and input on creative, guidance on asset types and formats based on utilization, and prioritization recommendations based on local launch plans
- Create a strong collaborative work team environment to accomplish launch timelines and maintain constructive internal and external partnerships
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8-10 years overall experience in advertising / media agency with a strong digital expertise.
- Around 5-6 yrs. previous experience of handling digital media.
- MBA / PG higher education with a Specialization in Marketing or Brand Communication
