Associate Director–Corporate Leadership Council
Position Overview
- Consultants identify major business challenges, design and manage studies to address those challenges, and use the results of these studies to design diagnostic services and workflow tools to aid the decision-making of senior executives. Consultants also have opportunities for product line management, staff and project leadership, and product development. There are no sales or business development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Design and manage studies
- Use intimate knowledge of the root causes of member problems to develop hypotheses for guiding research deliverables and other service offerings (e.g., benchmarking, online tools)
- Develop insights and solutions that address members’ major business problems
- Independently prepare research deliverables and additional service offerings
- Manage, coach and provide ongoing development to members of the research team
- Establish a cohesive and cooperative work environment for all staff
A successful candidate will possess:
Analytical Skills
- Strong inductive and deductive reasoning skills
- Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data
- Experience in hypothesis-driven research and in conducting primary and secondary research
- Ability to generate ideas that have an impact High proficiency in distilling massive amounts of data into important relevance for senior executives
- Superior analytical skills, as demonstrated by a track record of thought leadership and problem solving activities
Product Creation Skills
- Exceptional writing ability
- Experience creating graphical representations of data
- Experience or ability to teach and relay ideas to a professional audience
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Experience working with online content preferred
- Interest and experience in teaching and public speaking
- Ability to facilitate discussion and present complex research designs and findings to a variety of audiences
Management and Teamwork Skills
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Demonstrated experience owning multi-month, content-heavy projects independently or through leading others, with strong results
- Experience and ability to engage clients
- Experience managing analysts and working in teams against aggressive deadlines
- Excellent writing and presentation skills and a deep interest in developing insights and pragmatic solutions for an executive audience
Education
- Undergraduate degree and advanced degree required
- Graduate degree(s) strongly preferred. Specifically, an advanced degree in Economics, Business, Econometrics, Applied Microeconomics, Public Policy, Political Science, Industrial Organization, Psychology, Sociology, or Public Finance is strongly preferred.
- Has to be from Tier1 institutes both Nationayl or internationally like Delhi School of Economics, LSE, IIM, XLRI etc
- Minimum of 6-10 years of work experience required, with a minimum of 2 years in a corporate work environment.
- Willingness to travel 5-10%
Compensation can go upto 25Lacs plus variable.
