About our Client:

A Leading Pharmaceutical US MNC with Pan India presence.

Position: Associate Director - Contract Manufacturing Operations

Location: Pune

Role:

- Managing Contract Manufacturing function for APIs & Intermediate for domestic as well as regulatory markets

Oversee the production of raw materials, intermediates, and API’s at third –party vendors.

- Serve as a technical process chemistry and manufacturing expert in support of third-party vendor ongoing production.

- Review vendor documentation

- Lead commercial negotiations, assure security of supply

- Validation documentation, and executed documents versus internal procedures.

- Lead technical process transfers of improved or existing processes between and vendor sites.

- Ensure vendors comply with existing contracts.

- Generate new contracts as needed with vendors.

- Negotiate for improved pricing, timing, and quality results from vendors.

- Deliver on other external manufacturing and supply related tasks as assigned.

Experience & Education:

- 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry

- Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/ M.Pharm/ Ph.D.

- Significant knowledge of regulations specifically related to the production of pharmaceutical intermediates and API’s.

- High level of technical knowledge relating to manufacturing plant operations and equipment

- Strong project management abilities.
