Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM)- (Oil & Gas).

Experience: 5+ years Position: Permanent.

Location: Hyderabad.

Job Overview:


- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive sales growth within the Oil & Gas industry.

- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling data analytics solutions, with a deep understanding of the UK market and its unique challenges.

- This role will focus on expanding our client base by identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering tailored data solutions to meet industry-specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Business Development:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the Oil & Gas industry within the UK.

- Identify and engage with potential clients, decision-makers, and stakeholders within the industry.

- Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Product Knowledge & Solution Selling:

- Articulate the value proposition of data analytics solutions in addressing challenges faced by the Oil & Gas sector.

- Provide tailored data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making for clients.

- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in data analytics relevant to the Oil & Gas industry.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:

- Identify and generate leads through research, networking, and attending industry events.

- Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and progression through the sales cycle.

Sales Reporting & Forecasting:

- Track sales activities, opportunities, and performance metrics through CRM tools.

- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in B2B, B2C sales.

- Demonstrable experience in selling to clients, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.

- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.

- Strong knowledge of the challenges and opportunities in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly as they relate to data usage and analytics.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently or within a team.
