Role : Senior Associate, Data Science Operations

- As part of the Data Science practice, you will be managing the analytics and reporting requirements of a major US bank. 

Key responsibilities include:

- Translate client challenges into actionable business intelligence solutions by collaborating with the subject matter experts at the client firm.

- Work on Data Science initiative projects

- Require Strong SAS, Tableau, Python/R skills

- Ad hoc analysis to understand business trends

- Support Tableau migration projects

- Create Centralized, Analytical data marts across various projects to support analysis using SAS/SQL and Excel by leveraging data sets originating from multiple business units

- Perform data preparation activities in support of analytics and reporting automation using SAS/SQL.

- Create queries, views and extracts.

- Develop and manage bespoke extract, transform, load (ETL) processes

- Process automation. Identify current processes which are manually completed, apply process automation

- Ensure meticulous documentation of processes, meta data, query logics, and results

- Ability to transform high-level requirements into data visualizations and capabilities which will allow business users to answer common questions and interact with data to answer more complex questions.

- Perform balance & control, testing and/or other validation activities to ensure accuracy of reporting.

- Analyze underlying data sets, summarize finding and present insights

- Ensure quality of data for the analysis

- Undertake bespoke modification requests from subject matter experts

Experience :

- Over 7-8 years of relevant experience in SAS, SQL, Tableau, R/Python and Excel

Education :

- Master's in Statistics / Computer Applications / Technology, Bachelors in Engineering

Skills :

- Strong SAS, Tableau, R/Python

- Ensure quality of deliverables within project timelines

- Independently manage daily client communication, especially over calls

- Drives the work towards completion with accuracy and timely deliverables
