Acuity Knowledge Partners - Delivery Lead/Manager - Leveraged Finance

Opportunity :

We are currently looking for dedicated and motivated individuals who have strong leadership, organizational and teamwork skills for its Investment Banking team based in Gurgaon.

Responsibilities :

- Supporting our clients on Leveraged Finance deals including acquisition finance, HY issuances, event based financing, credit reviews and syndicated deals across the deal cycle from origination/ idea generation to pitching or execution and post deal activities

- Prior experience of working on live deals will be useful

- Experience or capability to manage multiple teams of 2-4 people working for various banks Leveraged Finance teams over the course of a year or two

- Knowledge of working in multiple industries including Financial Sponsors, TMT, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Energy, Retail, Power and Utilities

- Should have hands on experience working on :

a. Market updates/ newsletters, target/ buyer screening, sponsor profiles, preparing pitch books, credit memos, information memorandums, company profiles, company focused discussion documents related to various industries.

b. Preparing financial analysis including trading/ transaction comparable, operational/ financial benchmarking, models including DCF, LBO etc.

- Meet project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure - high client satisfaction-

- Conducting quality control check of the outgoing reports / packs

- Other activities include structuring deliverables / teams & developing new capabilities / new research products

- Demonstrate strength and experience in client / requester relationship building and management, information / knowledge needs assessment

Required Background :

- Post-Graduation in Finance or equiv. qualification (CFA, MBA (finance), CA or equiv.)

- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the Investment banking space with front end experience or working with Captives of large global banks in their leveraged finance team

- The candidate should have the ability to work independently and possesses the management/leadership skills to run the research on a day-to-day basis and apply his insights to client ideas

- Ability to handle pressure working in fast paced environment with quick problem solving skills

- Sound knowledge and relevant work experience on industry and macro-economic overviews/ studies, credit markets, competitive landscape, relative valuation, detailed company analysis, financial modeling (DCF, LBO etc.), Pitch books, IMs, etc.

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience in Client handling

- Should be well versed with MS Office suite specially Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point

- Working knowledge of database such as Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, Factset, Thomson, etc.
