Actuarial modelling
- Relevant product knowledge
- Solvency Assessment and Management knowledge, including ORSA requirements
- Asset and Liability Management knowledge
- Knowledge of Capital Modelling
- Knowledge of IFRS17 modelling would be advantageous
INTERNAL PROCESS
- Analyse various sources of information and translate findings into insights that answer specific business questions.
- Compile and present actuarial reports for various stakeholders to highlight insights and inform decision-making.
- Review and compare competitor strategies, to inform product and pricing strategies.
- Design and develop products and solutions that answer specific business questions and capitalises on opportunities identified.
- Review and develop solutions through the application of actuarial techniques and modeling
. - Manage the implementation of relevant statutory reporting requirements within the area of expertise or specific business context.
- Develop methods and strategies to implement and monitor actuarial-related risks within specific business processes or products.
FINANCE
- Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.
- Manage financial and other company resources under your control with due respect.
- Provide input into the risk identification processes and communicate recommendations in the appropriate forum.
