Summary:
- Graduate, numerate degree preferred such as Mathematics / Statistics / Economics / Engineering.
- Sound actuarial technical capability with relevant minimum experience of 1.5 years
- Steady exam progress on your actuarial professional qualifications and should have cleared at-least three core technical actuarial exams
- Consistently and correctly use corporate processes, templates, precedents and models as appropriate
- Build credibility with senior colleagues through effective and flexible work delivery
- Ability to work well in a team environment by being respectful and supportive of others, communicating openly and constructively and being an active listener
Role overview:
- Supporting the onshore consultants and other senior team members to provide expert, timely, efficient and professional delivery of client deliverables
- Prepare the client deliverables using the tools, establish reasonableness and reliability of checks and ensure proper audit trails
- Complete the client deliverables in an efficient manner, clearly evidencing checks with proper audit trails and demonstrate understanding of how the changes might impact on client
- Demonstrate a logical approach to checking work, a good understanding of technical piece of work and the ability to explain actuarial and business concepts to less experienced colleagues
- Develop technical knowledge and big picture thinking to deliver on various actuarial support services
