P&C Actuarial
Principal Responsibilities :
- Quarterly reserves analysis for the Division Americas P&C business
- Reporting of quarterly results to senior management and the Reserve Committee
- Statutory reporting and capital adequacy testing for the company's Canada branch
- Economic Value Management calculations and reporting
Interaction with other parties :
- Collaborate with reserving actuaries from other Americas locations: Toronto, Armonk etc.
- Regular interaction with other functions and departments such as Underwriting, Client Management, Claims, Technical Accounting, Finance and Risk Management
Required profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics or equivalent field
- 6+ years of experience in the P&C actuarial domain
- Actively working towards the attainment of an actuarial qualification
- Experience in statutory reporting for P&C branch entities
- Excellent knowledge of insurance accounting principles
- Ability to work accurately and deliver to deadlines
- Strong data organization and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in VBA programming
