The primary responsibilities are:
Validation of valuation extracts ( Checking/Movement reconciliations )
Working knowledge of Valuation of liabilities for various LOB- s( Protection, Savings, Annuities)-Exposure to US market preferred
Checking and Validation of Valuation results (e.g. Reserve Roll forward, providing valuation commentaries to Senior Management)
Exposure to Stat/IFRS/Sol II reporting
Qualification required:
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Statistics, Mathematics or Economics with good experience in Forecasting and Planning domain in Life Actuarial
- Student Member of Actuarial Society (IAI/IFoA/CAS/SOA)
Technical skills required:
- Strong knowledge of insurance business and Actuarial techniques
Knowledge of advanced excel and VBA
- Knowledge of Life insurance products, US Market preferred
- Exposure to Liability projections preferred
- Ability to work independently on any actuarial software. This would include (Model Validation/Replication/Enhancement/ making changes in the existing model per the required specification)l

- Good communication and strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with stakeholders & auditors
- Highly organized, structured & proactive
- Good inter-cultural skills
- Autonomous - ability to deliver independently or with limited supervision/ support
- Good time management skills - meet tight timelines and manage adhoc deliverables, if any
- Quick learner
- Good team player and ability to work closely with onshore team
