The Business Risk Review ('BRR') Analyst provides day-to-day support to the Life & Health Business Risk Review Team, which performs independent reviews and quality assessments of pricing work across Life & Health reinsurance business.

The Business Risk Review Analyst role is global in scope, and provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to pricing in a many different regions& markets and across a variety of product lines. There may be opportunities for overseas travel for reviews and assessments.

Principal Responsibilities :

- Analyse quotation data in order to provide a list of representative sample offers to be included in Business Risk Reviews.

- Produce summary statistics and other management information to enable the BRR planning process, and to establish areas of focus during reviews.

- Analyse costing and pricing of Life & Health business to ensure it is compliant with company standards and general best practice.

- Analyse information across different systems to gain insights into global reinsurance pricing activities to help evaluate and monitor risks.

- Provide remote support to review leaders during on-site reviews on various adhoc tasks.

- Continuous enhancement of processes and tools used to support reviews.

As our ideal candidate :

- you will have at least five years' experience in the Life & Health industry, preferably within a valuation, modelling or pricing role.

- You will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or another numerate field; and be actively working towards attainment of an actuarial-related designation, e.g. FASI, FIA, FSA, FCIA, FFA or recognised equivalent.

- You are highly organised and pro-active in seeking out information. You are curious to learn and willing to challenge.

- You have excellent technical skills and are experienced in the use of Excel, VBA, Microsoft Access. Experience of actuarial pricing tools such as MoSes, ALFA or AXIS is a bonus.

- You have good knowledge of Life & Health products and a firm grasp of actuarial principles. Communicationis a key strength; you are able to communicate complex subject matters tailored to your audience in a clear and concise way.

- You have the confidence to use your own initiative, to work under pressure, and are at ease working independently as well as part of a team.
