Responsibilities will include:
- Working on annual and quarterly Reserve review process
- Working on annual and quarterly Actuals vs Expected (AvE) reports
- Contributing to the improvement, creation, and/or implementation of processes to expand capabilities, improve efficiency, and enhance effectiveness
- Working on Large claims adjustment to support the reserve review and AvE processes
- Improving/updating new and existing quarterly and annual processes.
- Working on netting down of the Reserves from Gross of RI to Net of RI Working on IFRS reporting
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of actuarial experience.
- Good actuarial exam progress in general insurance and preferably SP7 & SP8 in IFOA/IAI
- Prefer Reserve review and Reserve risk experience in general insurance
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Working knowledge of Word, VBA, other MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide clear and concise verbal and written communications of analyses and results
- Should be well organized and able to maintain good documentation and record keeping.
- Strong communication skills
