- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Commercial Excellence Leader to design, implement, and manage our strategic sales programs.
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales strategies & programs in retail, FMCG or telecom industry, design innovative & effective sales programs, and develop motivational techniques to drive sales performance.
- This role requires a strategic thinker who can align various sales programs with business goals and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.

Specific responsibilities include:
Design and Develop Sales Programs:
- Create effective sales programs/campaigns in conjunction with regional sales team that guide them to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ensure programs are competitive, aligned with business objectives as per annual operating plan
Analyze Sales Data:
- Regularly review and analyze sales performance data to assess the effectiveness of programs. Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth wrt competition landscape, industry trends and macroeconomic factors
Collaborate with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with sales leadership, IT, data engineering, technology and other departments to develop a well-integrated plan and get support across the organization
Communicate Programs:
- Clearly communicate plan details, criteria, and changes with effectiveness to the sales team. Ensure all team members understand how the plans work and what is required to drive & make it successful
Monitor and Report:
- Track the progress and publish reports on effectiveness of plans to Executive committee and sales fraternity on performance metrics, ROI, and plan impact
Optimize Programs:
- Continuously evaluate and refine programs based on feedback, performance data, and industry best practices to maximize effectiveness and alignment with company goals
Training and Development:
- Work with Training and Development team to propose & help devise training programs to maximize learning and improve productivity
What you must have:
- Must have 5+ years of experience in sales mgt., sales operations, or related roles with a focus on incentive program management.
- Strong- analytical- and data interpretation skills.
- Proven leadership skills with the capability to get things done through others
- Excellent written and- verbal communication skills,
- Should have proficiency in MS Word, Excel & presentation with exposure in Business Analytic tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong Organizational and project management skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Should have exposure of working in Retail, FMCG or telecom industry with sales structure understanding
