Context
The role is expected to set the long-term vision and strategy of the enterprise products which includes end-to-end product design, development and timely roll out of future-fit new services and solutions, delivering first time right customer experience. The role demands high cross functional engagement for development of a customer relevant portfolio utilising latest internet, security, data technologies of SDN/NFV, and cloud. The role is key to bridge the market requirements and the technology capability to deliver a cutting edge, commercially viable product with improved features and differentiators thereby enabling an edge in the market. Role is also expected to engage with key customers, understand their techno commercial needs to convert products into value creating solutions for them.
Key responsibilities
- New Product Roadmap ownership and delivery as per defined timelines
- Ensure timely launch and cross functional interactions through tight project management framework
- Ensure robust service design to shorten the opportunity to revenue cycle
- Evaluation & embracing of new technology/services to enable a technology leadership for the portfolio
- Define & manage partner engagements to implement and deliver productized solutions
- Ensure smooth product launch by handholding initial opportunities to deliver first time right customer experience, ironing out any process gaps that emerge in the launch phase
- Build an external partner product ecosystem through Cloud service providers, Data Centres, SI's and SAAS providers
- Deliver the agreed business plan of product growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit, and return on investment for all the products and solutions

- This role is the think tank that should have the skill set to evaluate customer needs as well as newer technologies to keep ACT in pace with the market
- Ability to assess and gain deeper understanding of customer challenges, industry solutions and emerging technologies like Internet, SDN, NFV, Cloud, security technologies etc
- Possesses experience of evaluating and influencing partners across the technology, roadmaps, operational and financial parameters.
- Strong influential skills to drive new product development across multiple functions
- Enterprise Solution Selling or Designing experience
