Role : VP - Technology

Education : B Tech/BE or M.Tech/ME in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college

Experience : 12 + years of experience in coding/e commerce roles in Internet companies or startups. experience in Launching and Scaling products.

Expertise : Tech expertise in Open Source/ PHP, My SQL, Java, JS, HTML, CSS3, Cloud Platform, Integration, Big Data with excellent problem solving skills. Experience in launching and scaling products

Role & Requirements:

- Lead the product development from a technical standpoint, and take end-to-end responsibility for all things technical for the product from technology selection to architecture and design to working with, and guiding the technical team in delivering the product per agreed timelines.

- Design the technical architecture, create and deliver specifications for software development and requirements for systems integration.

- Must be an excellent coder and out-of-box thinker to come up with creative solutions.

- Able to engage regularly with key stakeholders in analyzing and evaluating the product functionalities, and provide technical direction to the product.

- Technical evaluation of third party developed/hosted solutions.

- Project management skills, and management of external vendor relations and vendor resources.

- Bring in passion, dedication and quality into his/her work to develop a world-class product.

- Critical contributor in managing product scope, schedule and developer resources.

- Own up the design, development, integration and unit testing efforts for the product.

- Ready to roll up the sleeves and get hands-on at all times.

- Institutionalize best practices in application development.

- Managing and directing the product Technical structure & design, navigation, information architecture, and performance.

- Should be able to build a strong team, handle and motivate them.

- Identify Technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the success of the business.
