Job Title: Accounts Officer

Functional Area: Finance & Accounts

Department/Product: Logs Timber services Division

About Business - GSEZ Nkok Logs services main business is to buy and forwarding Logs from Gabon to other parts of the world. It has a logs, timber division with 100 plus people working under it.

Key Performance Matrices include:

- Financial reporting and control - Timely MIS and Financials as per CC date lines and ensuring compliance of statutory date lines

- Local accounts closure of books as per accounting standards

- Treasury Operations ensuring that the unit is funded as per process

- Cash & bank management for the unit's operational activities.

- Budgeting/forecasting & Reporting for the unit as per requirements

- Assist FM in monitoring fixed asset, inventory, A/R, A/P.

- Legal, Regulatory & Statutory Compliance - ensure compliance with statutory authority and audit requirements

- Risk Management and Control

- Audit and Controls

- Internal and External stakeholder relationships

Requirements:

- Inter Charted accountant / Inter ICWA or Bachelor/Master's degree in accounting with 8-15 years of relevant work experience

- Key strengths would be team management, problem solving, decision making and value orientation

Branch/Country: Nkok, Gabon

French proficiency would be an advantage.
