About our Client - Our client is a $5 Billion 100 year old European MNC, who are leaders in the specialty chemicals and aromatics space. In India their turnover exceeds INR 400cr. and are looking for a driven Accounting manager who will work closely with the finance director.

Job Description - You will be reporting directly to the Finance Director and will be responsible for management and statutory reporting of our client in addition you will be responsibly for the following:

- Accounts closing, Period End Closing & Year End Closing according to the guidelines

- Statutory audit

- Manage GL, AP & FA

- Prepare monthly reports Sales, Expenses and Margins Supervision of Accounting Operations

- Rebates to customers and Commissions to Agents

- Liaise with external parties including auditors & company corporate secretary

- Backup for Tax & Treasury Manager

- Follow internal control systems

- Ad hoc reports and projects

The Successful Candidate - You are a 1st attempt CA, with prior Big 4 exposure, and minimum 5 years experience in the Manufacturing or Chemical MNC setup. You must be a SAP super user, with exposure to GAAP and advanced excel. Must have sound knowledge of IFRS. You have excellent communication skills and have shown strong career progression in the past.
