Accounts Head - Renewable Energy

(1) Role/Designation : Accounts Head

Department : Accounts

Purpose of the Role :

Responsible for providing operational and pragmatic support to the Company. The person will directly supervise the Accounts function of the Company and its Project SPVs. He will report to the Senior Management and will directly assist in all strategic and tactical matters related to forecasting, Corporate regulatory compliances etc.

Key Result Areas :

- Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the Company's mission

- Oversee the management and coordination of all accounting activities of the Company /Project SPVs including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports on project funding, monitoring of organisational budgets

- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization & Project SPVs

- Ensure compliance with all Statutory and Regulatory requirements under Company and Tax (Direct and Indirect) Laws and maintenance of requisite documentation.

- Supervise internal, statutory and tax audits

Must have :

- Understanding of the current trends and developments in Accounts area including INDAS & IFRS

- Expert knowledge of Indian Tax Laws - Direct and Indirect (GST) and regulations

- Preferable if has had hands on experience in working on an Accounting ERP (SAP, Dynamics, Oracle etc)

- Experience in creating and assessing budget documents

- Supervise staff, including regular progress reviews and plans for improvement

- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form

Education :

- First Class Commerce degree / Masters (preferably Honours)

Experience :

- Post qualification work experience of 10-15 years

- Preferable to have handled accounts of a Renewable Energy Company
