Accounting Expert - SAP FI & S/4 HANA

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting Expert to join our team. With 15 to 20 years of expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) within the S/4HANA environment, you will play a key role in driving financial solutions and overseeing the implementation and optimization of accounting processes in SAP. As a senior-level professional, you will bring deep functional expertise in SAP FI, combined with strong leadership skills, to deliver cutting-edge solutions for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FI (Financial Accounting) solutions in SAP S/4HANA.

- Provide expert-level advice on SAP FI processes and functionalities to business stakeholders and technical teams.

- Manage the complete lifecycle of SAP FI S/4HANA projects, from blueprinting and requirements gathering to final deployment and go-live.

- Collaborate with business units to ensure the integration of FI accounting processes with other modules such as CO, MM, and SD.

- Configure and optimize General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA) modules within SAP S/4HANA.

- Ensure alignment of SAP FI functionalities with organizational financial reporting and compliance requirements.

- Perform data migration from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA and ensure smooth integration of financial data.

- Lead and mentor a team of SAP FI professionals, providing technical guidance, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring adherence to best practices.

- Conduct training sessions for end users and provide post-implementation support to ensure seamless system usage.

- Work closely with SAP development teams to ensure that custom developments are aligned with SAP FI best practices.

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues and ensure system performance.

Requirements:

- 15-20 years of experience in SAP FI with significant expertise in SAP S/4HANA.

- Proven experience in end-to-end SAP FI implementations and at least 2-3 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.

- Deep understanding of Financial Accounting processes (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting) in SAP FI.

- Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance module configuration, reporting, and integrations.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori and its integration with SAP FI processes.

- Experience with SAP FI month-end and year-end closing activities.

- Familiarity with integration of SAP FI with other SAP modules (CO, MM, SD, etc.) and third-party systems.

- Ability to manage complex financial data migrations and data conversions into S/4HANA.

- Expertise in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and taxation in SAP.

- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.

- Ability to handle large-scale, enterprise-level projects in a fast-paced environment.

- A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

- SAP FICO certification is an added advantage.

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance Cloud.

- Strong experience in financial data migrations, SAP Cloud Platform, or SAP Business Intelligence (BI).
