Accounting Advisory Services Role

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Provide accounting advisory services to clients on complex accounting issues (for eg. revenue recognition, business combinations, consolidations, financial instruments, income taxes, and stock-based compensation)

2. Advice clients on the implementation of new accounting standards

3. Conduct and facilitate IFRS training and seminars, both internal and external.

4. Advice clients on complex accounting and financial reporting matters arising from divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, debt, and equity security offerings, IFRS adoption among others.

5. Carry out and support business development activities to create new opportunities and translate to wins

6. Contribute to and assist in thought leadership initiatives.

7. Analyse prospective financial statements as well as participate in client meetings and site visits; identify issues, and propose strategies related to the procedures executed as well as actively contribute to report generation.

8. Lead teams at a field level by providing appropriate coaching to juniors

The ideal candidate should :

1. Be a Chartered Accountant, with min 1 year of experience in statutory audit post-qualification

2. 1 to 10 yrs of experience (Executive till senior manager position)

3. Have extensive knowledge of IFRS/Ind AS, with prior experience in addressing a broad range of complex accounting matters across industries

4. Big4 experience is an added advantage.
