Accountant - Manufacturing Sector

German Accountant

Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in alignment with organizatioonal goals.

- Analyse financial performance, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial requirements.

- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to address any issues or concerns.

Cost Control:

- Monitor and analyse costs to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

- Implement cost control measures, as necessary.

Team Management:

- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to develop talent and enhance capabilites.

- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement within the finance function.

- Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process and ensure compliance with local GAAP, and internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Degree in accounting or finance mandatory, professional degree preferred.

- Command over English and German language.

- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards and regulations.

- Experience in managing the Controllership of a multinational company, preferably in the technology, manufacturing sector.

- Proficient in MicrosoftOffice, ERP systems, and financial modeling tools.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
