Account Manager - Sales - Global Leader in Training and Consulting

As a Account Manager Sales, you will develop new accounts, grow, and retain major assigned accounts through strategic consultative sales activities to achieve sales quota.
What you will do:
- Generating new revenue opportunities by researching, qualifying, and closing business in both new and existing accounts
- Diagnosing client needs on an on-going basis to maintain and grow existing accounts
- Creating and updating sales forecasts that reflects the status of potential and booked revenue
- Collaborating with subject matter experts and other internal resources as required to advance sales opportunities
- Providing input, assisting and/or developing proposals in response to client requests
- Using different technology platforms to engage with external customers and colleagues
- Being responsible to manage personal score card of meetings, conversions, revenue and profitability goals
- Actively participating in sales planning and account strategy sessions as required
What you need to have:
- Degree in adult education, psychology or business preferred
- 5 - 7 years experience in end to end in sales
- Ability to develop a strong portfolio of accounts via own prospecting efforts
- Effective at working independently from home office with minimal supervision
- High level of conscientiousness
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with sales support resources
- Ability to develop sales prospects using a strategic approach that differentiates strong opportunities from weak ones
