Account Manager Snack India

In this position you are responsible for sales strategy, execution and business development with key industrial accounts in India for Snack accounts. Focus will be on global snack manufacturing companies for their locations in India

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with: technical equipment sales, large account development and project management, and team selling. He/she is able to work effectively in a multicultural and global environment. The job will require significant travel in India.

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and drive execution of account plans, actively participate in setting and implementing strategy.

- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in technical, operational and economic functions at the key accounts/plants.

- Identify new business opportunities and structure creative business packages that tie to company's best strengths and value propositions with solutions to the accounts’ most critical needs.

- Maintain responsibility for revenue objectives at the accounts, as well as for reaching the qualitative milestones/objectives as defined and agreed in the account plans.

- Organize regular review of account progress; redirect strategies and tactics when necessary.

- Continuously drive account analysis to strengthen our value proposition/offer to the accounts.

- Reflect on personal and business development as part of on-going commitment to improvement.

Your Profile:

- Fluent English.

- 7+ years in international B2B sales with experience selling complex technologies.

- Minimum Bachelor/university education preferred. Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.

- Energetic and well organized.

- Proactive, assertive, risk taker.

- Strong ability to work cross-border and cultures.

- Technical (mechanical) background preferred.

- Ability to develop and grow relationships at executive levels, and to work at multiple levels

- Proven ability to develop large accounts.

- Ability to evaluate and effectively pursue strategic sales opportunities.

- Strong self-managed team player.

- Objective critical thinking capabilities.

- Credible; able to develop strong relationships within the target accounts.

- Well developed communication skills.
