Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience in product sales and technical knowledge, enabling direct customer engagement. They should be proactive, strategic, and execution-focused, able to understand and discuss technical, legal, and commercial aspects with client stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a detailed account strategy to exceed business goals.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with key accounts to enhance customer satisfaction and create case studies.
- Engage with clients, identify business opportunities, and collaborate internally to address them.
- Oversee contract management, including billing, collections, SLAs, and issue resolution for strategic accounts.
- Articulate compelling value propositions for STT GDC India's services.
- Possess technical knowledge to describe infrastructure solutions (without implementation).
- Maintain an accurate business forecast and gather market intelligence.
- Drive sales development activities to achieve quarterly and annual targets.
- Work closely with clients to identify new opportunities and align solutions accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams (solutions, procurement, finance) to develop optimal solutions and pricing strategies.
- Lead customer negotiations on contract terms, service descriptions, and SLAs.
- Secure final agreements (COF) and process orders through internal systems.
- Support Service Delivery teams in issue resolution and ensure timely project execution.
- Coordinate with finance and billing teams for monthly revenue recognition.
- Develop and execute a quarterly Go-To-Market (GTM) plan to track and enhance sales performance.
Education & Experience:
Qualification: BE with MBA (preferred)
Experience: ~15 years of experience managing strategic accounts in relevant industries
Technical Skills:
- Strong sales orientation with the ability to communicate STT's unique value proposition effectively.
- Deep understanding of data center colocation and IT infrastructure businesses.
Soft Skills:
- Execution-focused: Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
- Interpersonal & Communication: Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated & Adaptable: Proactive, independent, and committed.
- Willingness to Travel: Open to travel as required.
