- The Account Director serves as a high-level business contact for the client. This position is responsible for client satisfaction and supports all program initiatives with a focus on providing excellent service to accounts and representing client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality.
- In addition, she/he builds relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities and manages the account team for portfolio brands.
- The Account Director is the main point of contact for clients and is heavily involved in liaising with existing clients as well as the creative and technical teams within the agency to deliver Social and Digital marketing solutions.
Core responsibilities include:
- Lead the agency's accounts with workstreams delivering on business goals for clients and working with team members to deliver top-notch service daily
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients; escalate, track and solve client issues
- Collaborate with account leads, creatives, and the account teams to develop marketing campaigns that are motivated by social and digital insights
- Managing all aspects of account health and profitability from budgets to contracts, allocations and more
- Developing long term relationships with clients and executive teams through strategic counsel, managing challenges and bringing proactive ideas to the table
- Develop social and digital ideas; actively participating in thought starters and strategic digital brainstorms
- Actively pursue, seek and pitch new business, respond to RFI's and procurement requests
- Lead the development and execution of Social Media strategies for clients
- Operationalize and establish processes for scaling the Social Media marketing practice at Organization alongside key internal team
- Identifying and pitching incremental opportunities to grow business and additional opportunities
- Leading agency development programs for staff, new business and culture initiatives
- Increase client retention and conversion rates through best in class social and digital marketing programs and award-winning campaigns
- Mentor and develop management resources to become accountable decision-makers able to support strategic initiatives independently and report on progress.
- Identify talent, manage and develop team for future growth within the department and organization.
- Work with junior staff to ensure daily, weekly and monthly goals are being met and exceeded
- Support delivery management and client engagement in drafting proposals, budgets and timelines for client projects
- Monitor and manage all aspects of daily client performance
- Drive established goals across relevant KPIs and balance business yield focused with client desired metrics.
- Ensure that Organization's digital assets are best in class
