Opportunity with a top international direct & digital agency for its Mumbai office.

The role: Account Director/ Manager for a large Financial Services Group.

1. Smooth functioning of the key account of the Agency:

- The Financial Services Group has a Mutual Fund, Insurance, Distribution, Broking and Finance verticals. And the person together with his team of three account management executives will be responsible for the overall functioning of the day-to-day business.(Candidate should have experience in directing the work of others)

- This will involve ability to anticipate, prioritize, plan resources and deliver on key projects. This would also involve building relationships with the key Client contacts.

2. Increased revenues from existing businesses. There are opportunities to garner additional revenue through artwork, through new project suggestions, websites, microsites. The Leader will need to sniff out such opportunities and grow the revenue. Strong relationship with the key client will ensure that there are referrals on across group projects. (Someone with experience in increasing revenues with existing clients)

3. New Business Acquisition:

- It is expected that the Group Head will assist the Agency in garnering new business. This will be done through appropriate assistance in new business pitches, leading pitches and networking with the prospects and existing contacts to create new business opportunities.

4. Pushing the creative agenda:

- Great work will result in increased business. The Account Management Leader will need to partner with the Creative teams to recognize and actively sell good work

5. Mentoring the juniors:

- The head of this business needs to mentor the junior members of the team and help them grow. Directions on creative judgment, sharpening of strategic skills, tips on building great relationships, would be an essential part of the person's responsibilities.

What qualities/experience are we looking for :

- 6 to 9 years' experience in an agency (or in dealing with an agency) We can check for your case as it is 12 years.

- A proven capability of multi-tasking

- An ability to build relationships

- An ability to springboard from Client brief to evocative creative briefs

- An affinity to digital as a medium - active engagement with the medium and an experience with digital projects

- An understanding of Direct Marketing

- Prior experience with financial clients or business would be an added advantage
