Manager - Account close & Management Reporting
Reporting to - Sr. Manager
CA with 6+ years of experience in Management Reporting, GL Accounting and Accounting closed activities.
Location - Gurgaon
- Person will be required to manage direct reports and their teams (team leaders and executives) in the preparation, maintenance and delivery of Accounting Close and Management Reporting activities.
- Income Analysis (calculating, reconciling, posting and reporting on work in progress, debt, utilization and the associated provisions)
- General Ledger (GL) Account Analysis (calculating and posting accruals and prepayments, analysis of direct and indirect costs, entity consolidation, cost allocation and account reconciliations)
- Preparation and review of Trial Balances, Balance Sheets and Profit and Loss Accounts
- Monthly preparation and review of Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Monthly preparation of actual and rolling cash flow
- Preparation of variance analysis
- Production of Partner Statistics including MYC
- Calculation of PSA return and ensuring compliance with rules
- Preparation, validation and distribution of regular management reports, KPIs and all ad hoc reports as required.
- You will work with your manager to set and maintain service levels and to deliver a high standard of output whilst managing expectations within the confines of the GPMS system.
- You will need to establish a structure so that all work is completed in a controlled, accurate, timely and consistent way to ensure data integrity and quality, in accordance with company policy and ensuring that Statutory requirements for all offices are met. You will also be responsible for ensuring continued compliance over time.
- You will work with the Team Leaders to aid the development of the skills of each team, aiding the career development of your staff.
- You will identify areas of risk to the financial integrity of transactions and recommend safeguard against financial loss or miss-statement.
- You will recommend processing improvements to maximize efficiency without jeopardizing financial control or compliance with company policy and Statutory requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ideally your experience will have been gained in a large MNC in handling reporting closing processes. It is essential for you to have experience of managing large teams of graduates/post graduates necessary to succeed in this role.
- Experience of the outsourcing/off shoring in a captive set up would be an advantage.
- You will be confident and willing to engage with all levels of staff with excellent organisational skills. You will be proactive and be able to demonstrate new initiatives & process improvements by supporting Yellow Belt Certification in the team. You will have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. You will be of graduate calibre.

- Work experience with Service Industry will be preferred
- Fluent in written and oral communication in English
- Knowledge and experience in accounting systems
