Access - Investment Analyst - Private Equity

As an analyst:

You will be involved in the investment management, portfolio management and internal MIS functions.

Some of the work that you will be involved in during the investment management process includes:

1. Transaction origination - coordinating with investment bankers and other intermediaries.

2. Initial Screening of transactions - Participating in preliminary conversations with intermediaries and promoters. Coordinating industry research which may involve both primary and secondary research.

3. Progressing shortlisted transactions - This involves assisting the Firm's Partners with business due diligence as well as financial analysis. It also involves coordinating with due diligence agencies appointed by the firm on the due diligence processes. This involves understanding their analysis and arriving at recommendations, facilitating the investment decision.

4. Transaction closure - Assisting the partners in working with legal firms for legal documentation and then deal execution

You will work closely with the portfolio management team to:

1. Reviewing annual budgets

2. Reviewing monthly MIS

3. Assist in evaluating new business strategies including organic and inorganic growth

You will also be involved with preparing and analysing internal MIS of the firm.

Expectations of candidate:

- This position is Mumbai based, and will report to Investment Principal. As a part of the team, the candidate shall have an opportunity to work directly with the Managing Partners, investment bankers, and portfolio companies- management team.

- We are looking for a chartered accountant with 0 to 2 years of experience, ideally with one of the Big Four.
