Role: Resources Chemicals B2B Commercial Analyst Consultant

Principal Duties And Responsibilities:
- A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
- Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.
- Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
- To bring industry knowledge, world class capabilities, innovation and cutting-edge technology to our clients in the Natural Resources industry to help them raise their performance to new heights
- To work with leading Chemical companies, major customers and suppliers to develop and execute global strategies, manage complex change initiatives and integrate solutions to meet changing business challenges
- Is expected to work competently within one geography, or with close supervision, across geographies
- To efficiently work for assignments in the Chemicals industry
- To be able to deliver potential solutions along commercial processes and operational excellence, business process optimization, managing ERP related processes, project and change management in Chemical Industry
- To harness extensive knowledge combined with an integrated suite of methods, people and assets to deliver sustainable long term solutions
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree from institute of repute (Business Administration/Statistics/Economics)
Experience:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years- experience in the chemicals industry in commercial functions
- Strong experience with Sales, Marketing and Customer Service functions for B2B industries, preferably Chemicals and Downstream Energy
- Clear understanding of the chemical industry value chain, go-to-market strategies, pricing strategies, sales and marketing operations and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes
- Strong functional expertise around Order-to-Cash processes, pricing and profitability and Commercial Operations
- Strong Excel Modelling Skills
- Strong consulting experience (including internal consulting/strategy/projects roles in Industry) with project management capabilities and ability to drive transformational change programs
- Master- s/Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep Commercial Management expertise in the chemicals industry (G&A and Operational Costs)
- Deep OTC functional and commercial operational leadership expertise
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Professional services/consulting experience highly desirable
- Experience with IT solutions for CRM (SFDC - Saleforce.com)
- Knowledge of SAP and latest
- Skills in modelling in analytical tools such SAS, R is an added advantage
- Experience of working in pricing applications such as Vendavo, Pros etc.
- Strong process excellence experience for key usage scenarios ranging from business diagnostic, organization design, operating model design, business process design and re-engineering and change management to system implementation
Key Competencies and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Process Optimization: Provide business process method and tool expertise for the design, implementation and continuous improvement of business processes in Chemical industry commercial space (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Pricing and Profitability Improvement)
- Ability to develop and apply creative, workable solutions to project-related issues
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
