Supply Chain Analytics – Operations Manager – level C
Location – Mumbai and Chennai
OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
- Work with SUPPLY CHAIN delivery teams, Operations Excellence project teams Globally in diagnosing business problems, defining work streams, collecting & analyzing data, and developing practical solutions that address key business challenges with clients through Client Business Outcome Analytics
Typical Client Business Outcome Analytics project engagements could be in the area of:
- Strategic sourcing of Direct materials, Indirect categories & services
- Direct and Spares Inventory Management
- High performance end2end Supply Chain, Logistics, Production Planning, Forecasting capability assessment
- Supply Chain management intelligence services
- Warranty Management and Aftermarkets Customer services
- Procure to Pay services
- Collaborate with Global SUPPLY CHAIN Solutions Team, Existing SUPPLY CHAIN Subject Matter experts across delivery teams to create NextGen SUPPLY CHAIN solutions (covering people, process, technology) which can be marketed to potential and existing client
- Work with the Global SUPPLY CHAIN Industrialization Action Network to drive the Business Outcome Indicator Analytics projects on delivering client business value
JOB REQUIREMENTS – Overall Experience
- Demonstrates strong understanding of the problem area and client business, technological and process implications as related to SUPPLY CHAIN to enable a transformation in SUPPLY CHAIN processes for large global companies
- Demonstrate strong ability to interpret business case solutions into quantifiable customer benefits
- Exhibit strong understanding of the industry / domain for 'solution'' design, transition planning, service definition & process improvement
- Demonstrate expertise in many of the SUPPLY CHAIN specializations listed in the types of project engagements
- Exhibit effective oral and written communication, result-orientation, leadership, project management, and teamwork & networking skills with an ability to interact effectively with different levels of management
- Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams in a flexible but fast-paced, results driven environment throughout the project lifecycle
- Should have an overall 6-7 years of hands-on experience working within the SUPPLY CHAIN field and/ or transformation related topics in business or consulting industry with Project management experience. A Supply Chain Consulting role in a Consulting organization would be an added advantage
- Should have 2-3 years of experience in Data Analytics with exposure to statistical problem solving techniques. Should have worked on end-to-end improvement projects involving extensive data analysis
- Experience in Advanced Forecasting, Warranty Analytics and Optimization techniques will be an added advantage. Exposure to SAS would be an added advantage
- Possession of relevant certifications in the field of SUPPLY CHAIN
- Should be a Graduate in Engineering & have a Master’s Degree in Management from a Premier Institute
- Excellent English communication (written & spoken) and change management skills
