Role Outline :
- The Solution Architect plays a key role toward helping Accenture employees unleash their potential, build extraordinary careers and lead themselves and their clients to high performance. The Solution Architect is a steward of our HR vision and is passionate around partnering with CoE counterparts to design and deliver solutions that delight our employees and bring this vision to life.
- The Solution Architect provides leadership, vision and oversight to indirect teams (Shared Services, Development/Delivery teams)and drives business case development, business requirements / user stories, and solution blueprints; provides oversight for implementation/delivery activities and ultimately, ensures business value is realized for our technology initiatives.
- The Solution Architect may also be responsible for effective operations management of our technology solutions.
- The Solution Architect must apply knowledge of various global entities, geographies, business practices and workforces, as well as Accenture's strategic business objectives, to successfully execute key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities :
HR IT Strategy :
- Understand our HR Strategy and provide input to both our HR and CoE technology strategies
Business Acumen :
- Develop and maintain expertise in talent development processes and understanding of related processes to ensure integration with other organization, process, and technology areas.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of industry and technology trends related to area of responsibility.
Leadership and People Development :
- Provide leadership, vision and oversight for anydirect Solution Architect team(s) and any indirect teams involved in development/delivery.
- Operate with a large degree of autonomy and independence, deliver high quality work, and collaborate effectively with other business, process and technology teams.
Stakeholder Management :
- Build and manage stakeholder relationships across business, process and technology teams, driving coordination, communication and ensuring solutions meet overall business objectives.
- Partner with Discipline team to plan and manage change efforts including identifying key stakeholders and their goals and expectations and monitor change progress (e.g. commitment curve).
Technology Design & Development :
- Drive initiative and operations functions for our technology solutions.
- Support the business case process, from providing input to driving the business case.
- Drive business, functional, and application requirements, prioritizing them by cost and opportunity within Accenture's overall business strategy, and ensuring overall alignment to other initiatives / integration with other enterprise systems.
- Design processes, procedures, systems requirements, communications, learning & performance support, and other enabling tools necessary to effectively operationalize the initiative(s).s
- Ensure agility/adaptability of technology solutions to enable support for changing business needs.
- Drive application requirements through delivery and adoption.
Operations Management :
- Drive initiative and operations functions for our technology solutions.
- Efficiently and effectively manage processes, resources and technologies to ensure the smooth flow of production operations to meet cost, quality, controls and delivery targets.
Financial Management :
- Effectively manage initiative and operations budgets, including forecasting and managing/mitigating risk.
Technology Delivery :
- Effectively balance initiative release components (e.g., scope, quality, schedule) to ensure successful release of new capabilities.
- Manage implementation activities related to talent development technology initiatives, including providing direction to and signing off work performed by Shared Service development teams (AL, CIO).
