EEC (Capital Projects), MRO & Facilities :
Leads high spend individual sourcing projects and manages Sourcing & Category management Team in India across sourcing categories of EEC, MRO & Facilities practices with a goal of achieving client deliverables whilst maintaining policy & contractual compliance and high stakeholder satisfaction. While this position will report to Head of Sourcing & Category Management Team in India, it will also work very closely with Global Sourcing & Category managers to execute projects for clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead High Spend Strategic Sourcing Projects:
- Lead and execute sourcing projects ($2M+ in spend) of EEC, MRO & Facilities categories for Fortune 500 companies, including opportunity assessment, strategy development, RFx execution, supplier negotiation, award recommendations based on TCO model, client & internal stakeholder communications and business case presentations.
- Ensure the consistent delivery of sourcing services that meet and exceed savings and SLA targets.
Team Management:
- Manages a team of highly qualified professionals across practices, EEC, MRO & Facilities.
- Responsible for work allocation, delivery excellence and high productivity.
Monitoring stakeholder satisfaction:
- Monitor satisfaction with Onshore Sourcing & Category Managers through regular liaison with Stakeholders.
- Pursue and develop senior level stakeholder relationships.
Continuous improvement:
- Expert in driving organization transformation initiatives and play a strong change agent role.
- Exposure to new age technology tools related to Analytics and reporting.
Business Development:
- He/She should be able to support client visits and provide SME inputs to sales & solution modeling teams for new business development.
Develop an expertise in the assigned spend categories:
- Remain current with market trends through relationships with stakeholders, vendors and market experts; identifying and communicating new technologies and solutions to client’s key problems in the assigned spend areas. Develop category playbooks and market intelligence for various categories.
Drive best practices:
- Identify/define sourcing best-practices both within and external to Accenture and work with leadership team for implementation.
- Uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws: Maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as well as any internal policies (e.g. code of ethics) or procedures to ensure that the behavior exhibited by the organization is honest, ethical and professional.
Time Zone Management:
- Candidate should be flexible with working hours as he/she must work with global stakeholders.
COMPETENCIES:
- Having 12+ years of relevant experience with international firms. Blend of techno-commercial experience is preferable.
- Have at least an Engineering degree from a top tier university. Supply chain certification professionals will have an edge.
- Deep knowledge of sourcing & category management process, policies, best practices, sourcing dashboards and contracts.
- Expert in team management, coaching team members, team expansion and retention.
- Experience of working with clients and stakeholders in international environment.
- Multi-industry experience, like, Manufacturing, Consulting/BPO, Oil & Gas, Mining, Infrastructure, etc.
- Should have experience in strategic sourcing of Capital Equipment, Construction and Engineering services, MRO and
Facilities categories globally.
- Experience of new age tools for spend analysis, benchmarking and reporting.
- Excellent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills.
- Expert in Excel and good in creating & presenting executive power point decks.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
