Accenture - Travel Overview:

The Travel Industry team services management and technology consulting clients across the Travel and Hospitality Industry segments. The analyst/consultant will join the Air Cargo or the Airports capability within the Travel Industry team and must have in depth experience in either of these sectors. Prior consulting experience or suitable industry role in these industry segments for 3 years or more is a must

The Air Cargo or Airports analyst/consultant will perform a subset of strategic roadmap definition, business requirements analysis for strategic initiatives, design processes, asses product vendors or support implementation of products and systems. He/ She must have prior experience in at-least one of strategy definition, technology selection and / or implementation projects for Air Cargo or Airport firms. Service offerings by the Travel team are as follows:

- Business Case & Road mapping

- Business Analysis

- Airport Systems Application Rationalization

- Digital Applications for Airports

- Cargo iQ & OTP Improvement

- Airlines Business Process Framework

- Zero Based Budgeting

- Airlines Catering Op Model Design

Key responsibilities of the role:

Project Delivery:

- Ensuring high quality and in time project delivery

- Work with small to medium-sized teams to deliver projects for global clients

- Independently handle project work stream, with limited supervision

- Functional Experience: Deep skills and experience in at-least two of the following functions:

- Travel and Hospitality Digital Transformation

- Customer Experience Management / Customization

- Internet of Things/ Digital Disruption

- Aviation ticketing, Pricing and Revenue Management

- Air Cargo Operations, Reservations, Pricing and

Revenue Management:

- Hotel Property Management

- Airport Demand Planning and Traffic Forecasting

- Industry Expertise: Strong Travel industry expertise (industry details below), preferably experience in Business Consulting/ IT Consulting / Operations

Consulting in any of the following:

- Hospitality (Hotels/ Cruises/ Gaming)

- Travel (Airlines/ Cargo/ Airport/ Rail/ Road): Air Cargo and/or Airport Operations (Airside, Terminal, Landside Experience is highly preferred

- Travel services (Tour & Travel Services/ Rental Services)

Experience:

- Should have hands on experience on at least 2 of the following:

- Digital Transformation experience in either the Aviation or Hospitality Industry

- Either Program/Project Management or Functional Architecture for digital implementations

- One or more of Air Cargo, Airports, Air Operations, Aviation ticketing, Reservations, Pricing, Distributions (preferably with One Order knowledge) or Revenue Management experience

- Agile methodology for delivery of projects

- Must have either directly worked at or consulted clients in at least one of the following Travel industries

- Cargo

- Airports

- Should be skilled in using tools like MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

- Should be exposed to analytics and reporting tools like Tableau and PowerBI

- Should have managed small teams and/ or project delivery experience in direct client facing roles

Key Competencies and Skills:

- Ability to perform in different scopes of consulting projects in Travel domain - For e.g. Business and Operating Model Strategy, Product Design, Operations Transformation and Customer Experience Management by data analysis, research and benchmarking

- Ability to understand the systems used by multiple stakeholders of Airport and/or Air Cargo and design the solution as per required business outcomes

- Understanding of Analytics and its use in building business cases to solve complex problems in Aviation and Airports

- Possesses excellent communication (written and oral) skills and excellent presentation skills

- Comfortable working with the highest levels of client organizations

- Comfortable functioning in a broadly positioned and highly diverse consulting firm

- Excellent teamwork and ability to work in distributed delivery environment

- Prefer Agile certified & with prior experience in delivering through Agile Methodology
