Job Summary:

- The Recruiting/Human Resources Generalist will provide integrated Human Resources services to appropriate groups ensuring that people-related issues are managed effectively.

- The Recruiting/Human Resources Generalist is also accountable for the delivery of candidates to meet a small to medium recruiting demand plan.

- The Recruiting/HR Generalist will typically provide direct HR support to 1-3 client teams of low complexity and/or 100-200 supervised people. The Recruiting/Human Resources Generalist will supervise 2 or more Human Resources Reps and/or Recruiters.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting:

- Assist in the creation of and provide input to the Recruiting Plan

- Collaborate with Recruiting/HR Lead(s) on profile development and assist in supply and demand planning to meet overall business objectives

- Responsible for managing a small to medium recruiting pipeline and meeting recruiting targets

- Act as a main point of contact with external vendors/agencies; participate in contract negotiations and management

- Provide external marketplace information to Recruiting/HR Lead, stakeholders and business organizations

- Gather, evaluate and report external competitor intelligence

- Screen applications and select candidates

- Coordinate and conduct interviews

- Supervise recruiting events and sourcing activities

- Ensure that all paper work is received and completed according to policy

- Coordinate contract management and post offer management

- Act as single point of contact for designated candidates for all recruiting related questions and concerns

Human Resources:

- Manage the performance management and promotion processes, ensuring adherence to timelines and accurate and fair reward decisions

- Coordinate with Career Counselors and Managers to enable the implementation of performance improvement plans

- Coach and advise Career Counselors to ensure effective delivery of difficult messages

- Review continuously the performance feedback for individuals within remit in order to anticipate and manage potential performance issues

- Monitor and implement the process of managing attrition

Job Description:

- Manage proactively and monitor personnel issues/situations

- Communicate company-wide initiatives to group supported

- Attend community events and promote networking opportunities

- Conduct project visits to coach personnel on key policy and procedural change and provide general HR advice

- Support the career and professional development of all personnel by educating them on the career model, providing guidance on career plans based on their goals and the goals of the group

- Advise personnel on required and elective training appropriate for development

- Monitor the supply of personnel by maintaining personnel information in all appropriate systems, and reviewing and following up on all exceptions to chargeability and utilization targets

- Serve as a key contact for training issues for group supported

- Run and develop adhoc training events as required

Qualifications:

Education: University degree preferably in Human Resources or similar

Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years providing HR/Recruiting generalist service

Work Requirements: Some travel requirements depending on Clients/ Universities within scope

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

- Strong understanding of Employment Law

- Solid understanding of company policies, processes and procedures

- Understanding of HR and recruiting/sourcing processes, organization and tools

- Good understanding of the company's business objectives and organizational structure

- Good understanding of the company's position in the market place

- Solid understanding of recruiting/sourcing processes and organization, systems and tools

- Strong understanding of recruiting profiles

- Strong screening and assessing interviewing skills

- Understanding of recruiting resource and marketing plan

- Understanding of GU specific issues and cultural issues

- Strong knowledge of one or more specific workforces, operating groups, or capability groups

- Understanding of recruiting performance measurement and target metrics

- Good understanding of and skills in pipeline management and yield analysis

- Solid understanding of the external marketplace and industry trends

- Understanding of selling messages for each workforce in the organization

- Strong employment relations skills

- Strong professional development and training program implementation skills
