Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Academic Director to join our leadership team. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing academic strategies that directly contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, learner-centered education. You will lead a talented team of educators, collaborate with product and tech teams to integrate educational innovation, and help scale our educational offerings to reach a wider audience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Strategy Development:

- Lead the development and execution of the academic strategy, aiming to scale and improve educational offerings for a global audience.

- Continuously adapt the curriculum and teaching methods to meet evolving industry trends and learner needs.

2. Curriculum Development & Oversight:

- Oversee the creation and delivery of cutting-edge curricula that engage and empower students.

- Champion learner-centered approaches and integration of EdTech solutions to enhance the learning experience.

3. Academic Operations Management:

- Manage the day-to-day academic operations, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of academic programs.

- Monitor class schedules, resource allocation, and student engagement, ensuring timely and effective execution of educational offerings.

4. Excellence & Quality Control:

- Ensure high standards of academic delivery across all courses and programs.

- Develop and implement processes for ongoing assessment and quality control to ensure the highest level of academic excellence and consistency.

5. Research & Development:

- Lead and oversee academic research and development initiatives aimed at improving teaching methodologies, curriculum, and learner outcomes.

- Head the R&D team, ensuring the integration of innovative practices, technologies, and educational trends to enhance the overall learning experience.

6. Student Satisfaction & Discipline:

- Manage and monitor student satisfaction, addressing concerns, providing solutions, and ensuring an overall positive learning experience.

- Oversee student discipline and ensure adherence to institutional policies, fostering a respectful and conducive academic environment.

7. Outcome Handling & Placement:

- Drive initiatives to improve student outcomes, including post-graduation placement, industry partnerships, and internship opportunities.

- Oversee and support the placement process, ensuring that students are well-prepared and supported in securing employment after graduation.

8. Team Management & Development:

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing academic team focused on fostering a culture of academic excellence and innovation.

- Support professional development and growth for your team members, helping them unlock their full potential.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Education, or related field.

- Experience: At least 8-10 years of experience in senior academic leadership roles.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of e-learning tools, learning management systems (LMS), and emerging educational technologies.

- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage diverse academic teams.

- Expertise in driving academic innovation, ensuring quality, and aligning academic initiatives with business goals.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in scaling academic programs internationally or across diverse learner groups.

- Familiarity with education technology platforms and tools, including AI-driven learning experiences.
